Appointments

Urgent Appointment

To request an urgent appointment for today (Monday-Wednesday & Friday):

  • phone us on 0114 2455112 (Elm Lane Surgery) or 0114 2451880 (Chapeltown Surgery), Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 11am
  • Place an online request through Anima

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We also run a telephone triage, and doctors will ring back any patient requesting an urgent appointment or wanting urgent advice. It is not possible to give an appointment time for telephone triage, as often there are a large number of calls to make and some may take longer than expected. We kindly ask you to be on hand all day to take the call. If you have time constraints, please let reception and we will do our best to accommodate.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Due to increased demand for GP appointments, on Thursdays we do not have a telephone triage service. This is replaced by a limited number of "on the day" bookable appointments.
